The First National Bank of Altavista has been in existence since 1908. Given their rich local history, they wanted to keep the exterior look and feel of a historic bank building whilst having a contemporary and up-to-date interior. This was accomplished through the use of a brick veneer facade with masonry detailing that brings about the historic nature of bank architecture. The interior consists of a combination of porcelain tile and carpeted floors throughout along with traditional detailing and woodworking within the main lobby. The new 19,500 SF headquarters building will serve their banking needs for many years to come.
